I'm going to base my magazine on indie Rock and Roll music. Artists that my target audience will idolise, for example people like the xx, Pete Doherty and Moriessey . I want to use a stylish and fashionable model such as Ross Dougan for the front cover of my magazine. I'll take several pictures, edit a few on photo shop and choose my favourite. For my contents page I want a picture for the background but the writing kept to a bare minimum, keeping to the colour scheme shown in the picture below. I will use 2 or 3 smaller pictures on the contents page advertising a new band or a gig coming up. Things my magazine will contain are gig guides, feature articles, competitions, posters, a free CD etc. For the double page spread feature article I want to do an interview with a Indie girl band using pictures below, the interview could consist of a festival they recently played at and their opinions of how it went and where things are going to go in the future, and possibly a gig tour date advert which I will design myself.
These are possible colour scheme for my music magazine.

Here are some of the pictures I took that could make an apperence in my magazine, I used a variety of people including myself. They have all been edited on photoshop to fit the style of my magazine. In the first picture, Dougie is wearing a red hat so I may use this picture for my front cover and stick to the red, white and black colour scheme.
